This joke is somewhat unique in that the play on words works both in Italian and in English.

A guy has a terrible pain in his stomach and goes to the doctor. After an examination the doctor writes a prescription saying, “These pills are very strong – I recommend you take one Mondays, skip Tuesdays, take one Wednesdays, skip Thursdays, and so on until the pills are all gone.” A couple weeks later the man returns to the doctor who asks him, “So, is your stomach better?” “My stomach is well – says the patient – could you give me something for my legs? With all of this skipping, they're hurting like _____”

Stefanaccio,

Very good and I too liked both the Italian and English version. First I tried to decipher what it was in Italian (with my limited knoweledge) and then read the English version and was pleased to see I got pretty close.

Congrats on the 100th post.

I am working toward the #500!
