Irish jokes are the best...

"Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose woman."

The priest asks, "Is that you, little Tommy Shaughnessy?"

"Yes, Father, it is."

"And who was the woman you were with?"

"Sure and I can't be telling you, Father. I don't want to ruin her reputation."

"Well, Tommy, I'm sure to find out sooner or later, so you may as well tell me now. Was it Brenda O'Malley?"

"I cannot say."

"Was it Patricia Kelly?"

"I'll never tell."

"Was it Liz Shannon?"

"I'm sorry, but I'll not name her."

"Was it Cathy Morgan?"

"My lips are sealed."

"Was it Fiona McDonald, then?"

"Please, Father, I cannot tell you."

The priest sighs in frustration. "You're a steadfast lad, Tommy Shaughnessy, and I admire that. But you've sinned, and you must atone. You cannot attend church for three months. Be off with you now."

Tommy walks back to his pew. His friend Sean slides over and whispers, "What'd you get?"

"Three month's vacation and five good leads!" says Tommy.

I got to 1,000 legitimately, and no one even noticed!

Just kidding - I saw Carole's (LoveItaly) post when she thought she had 1,000 but really only had 885.

Hi Nancy,

You know I really wasn't try to jump the line!!! Maybe you, or one of the moderators, could tell me what the 1000+ number represents when I search my own posts. When I go to "View Forum Posts by LoveItaly" what I see is 1028 matches. I never noticed the number at the bottom of each post and went by the match number. With the 800+ number I guess I really don't have that much time on my hands. Now I have to play catch up and make it legit!!

I just did search of my own posts, and it says 1028 vs. 1009. The only thing I can think of is that some are shown twice for some reason.

Mods, any ideas?

I'm not sure why - I could understand why your number of posts might be greater than the actual search results (for those cases when some posts were deleted - I do not believe we update the counter) but I do not know why the counter should ever be less than the actual number of posts. I've contacted Groupee though to see if they have any ideas.
