First, this is my first time on what I hope in the Mexico forum, or the Spanish language forum. I hope I'm posting in the right place. I'm usually on the France forum. And I'm a little lost.

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with any of the many Spanish language schools in San Miguel Allende? This would be for two weeks of study for a beginner toward the end of July. There's about six schools, and I'm trying to chose which one might be right for me, an adult beginner.

I'm also open to suggestions of schools in other cities. I haven't bought any tickets yet--Mexico is a new vacation idea I'm exploring. Thanks.

You are definitely in the right forum - unfortunately I don't know much about schools in SM Allende, but I found this link with reviews: reviews on Trip Advisor.

I also wanted to say that Mexico is fantastic and you will enjoy it I am sure! I hear SM Allende is really great. I have also heard good things about Spanish study in Guadalajara and Cuernavaca, but I think a lot of those students are university students who go for a whole semester, so SM Allende might be better for short term study.
