I thought I'd post a video that I found out on YouTube. This video is part 1 of the hike from Vernazza to Monterosso. I thought it was very well done with a good touch of British humor.

I loved it, Marta, but it ended before he got there. Very well done, almost like a docoumentary. He is quite entertaining.

I love it!! Especially when he is filming himself as he is walking and you can see he is nervous about making a mis-step!

We did that hike a few times - it is the longest and steepest of all the parts of the trail. He is right about how crowded it is!!

I found Part Two but it is a bit creepy because he spends half the time filming the women on the beach (they are topless).

Terry there is a part 2. I'm in a little bit of a dilemma. Part 2 has shots of the beach in Monterosso. It does includes some topless beach scenes. If anyone wants to view part 2 (rated PG for some nudity), here is Part 2.

Maybe he was out in the sun too long! He definitely blew it on the beach in Monterosso. But I still like his mini-documentary.

We hiked from Monterosso to Vernazza, in the summer too, but didn't encounter those crowds at all (was it because it was 10 years ago, or that we left in the morning?) Hard to say, but it is a beautiful hike, coming and going.

I did meet someone on that trail who lived just one neighborhood over from me back home - we actually eat at the same pizza joint!
