It is almost time for the Olympics. Here is a wonderful time lapse video which highlights the beauty of Vancouver.

The cloud movement and fog movement is almost spooky. Great ad for a great city.

Right now Vancouver is in major party mode. Everyone (well almost everyone) is getting caught up in Olympic fever and the town is hopping.

I just hope the rain stops so that the world can see just how beautiful this area is.

Is it foggy in Vancouver very often? Anything like San Francisco?

The fog in the video was visually compelling, but I wouldn't be as happy on the ground with it!

Charity

Charity, no Vancouver is nowhere near as foggy as San Francisco. We do often get misty days in the winter, but rarely get the fog off the ocean in the summer.

It is interesting that there is so much low cloud in the video.
