Oddly fascinating.

TITLE: Re: Where the Hell is Matt?
DESCRIPTION: A pub crawl around Cambridge, England inspired by Where The Hell Is Matt. We went to pubs that spelt the letters of the word CAMBRIDGE. And we had to drink a drink with the same letter of the Pub we chose. Make sense? Nope, I don't get it either.

I went to wikipedia and found a phonetic breakdown, along with the English translation. I've asked my Welsh boyfriend many times to say this village for me, it's just not something I can wrap my tongue around.

Here is the wiki breakdown.

OMG!!! I kept expecting a hurl moment. They're spins became sycronized after M and lasted until D. And I think they were to $#@! faced to get to E. I was also horrified that the last scene featured them driving away. Not for kids indeed.

Cute.

I wouldn't have made it past "C" - that would have been more than enough for me.

I liked at the end - Drink in moderation.

Check.

Hey there. My name is Phil. I am one of the participants in the above dancing and drinking video.

I just had to defend us and say that yes, the drinking was indeed all done in one day.

I am not saying this because I am proud of it. Just that it took so much effort I don't want the pain and hangover that followed to be all for nothing.

I ended up falling on my ankle at the end of the crawl and going to hospital the next day to get an x-ray!

So yes it was silly and foolish. But no, we did not drive away at the end. That was just a passing car that almost ran us over. And finally, we DID complete all 9 pubs. The E pub was the Earl Of Beaconsfield where we drank a Guiness Extra Cold.

Anyway I hope this clears some of the rumours up.

Phil Smile

Hi Phil,

Which one were you, the cute tall one or the cute short one? I re-watched it again with my college age daughter and I did see you made it to E. Smile And as a MOM I am so glad you didn't drive. Thumbs Up

I'm sorry you hurt your ankle. There There

As for the hangover we have a saying here in the States, (specifically Missouri). When someone has an especially bad hangover the expression goes, "I feel like I've been ate by a panther and $#@! off a cliff." Chicken Dance

Thanks for posting Phil! I found your video when I was wandering around on YouTube one night and really liked it - great idea, great execution! I thought it was all done on one day - am happy to hear that was it.

Any other video pub crawls in the works?

Regarding the ankle - what a way to end the project!! Big Grin
