Just for fun I did this YouTube Slideshow video of photos I took while hiking the beautiful trails of the Cinque Terre in Italy. It was a Slow Traveler that recommended it and I was really glad that I listened. My friend and I had a blast! Day one, we took the train to Riomaggiore and hiked back to Vernazza. Day two we hiked from Vernazza to Monterroso al Mare where we arrived to at their annual Lemon Festival where we indulged in music, food and wine before we caught the train back to Vernazza! One day I'd like to go back and visit the other surrounding towns in this part of Italy.

One of the many reasons why I love this site! Great advice, expert knowledge, terrific people and wonderful experiences for me to have as a result.

I did take some short video clips which I'll post after editing them. Don't know what it is about being on vacation that makes one say silly thinks while video taping.

Hiking the Cinque Terre

Thanks for posting. I'll embed this in a post. You did a great job on the slideshow. It brought back a lot of memories for me.

Thanks Marta. I tried but couldn't figure out how to embed it. I was just talking with my friend about our trip the other day and it always brings up some great memories, not to mention a few laughs.

Only the 'admins' have the ability to put html in a post which is why you couldn't do it yourself. Adding a link is the best way for ST members. Then one of the mods with admin rights can embed it.

I loved the show but it was a little bit tough to watch it on a gray drizzly Seattle day.

By the way, I used to live in Seattle for a while and so I totally get what you mean.
