A few glittering scenes of Paris at Christmastime. My choice of music was inspired by the fact that Jingle Bells sung in English seems to be a very popular holiday song in Paris. Pere Noel led the audience in singing it at the end of the Christmas show at the Museum of the Living Horse in Chantilly, and another time we heard a little boy who must have learned it in nursery school singing it to his mother.

I used iMovie on my Mac laptop. It's very easy -- it only took me a couple of hours to put the whole thing together, and part of that was finding a free version of Jingle Bells online for the audio track. Both the stills and video came from my little Canon SD700 camera.
I was in Paris last Christmas for the lights and they were excellent. I am in Bristol, England at the moment and the local council have hardly done anything for Xmas here
Roz, I just noticed this - great job on the video! I just love iMovie. Where did you find the free version of Jingle Bells? Finding copyright free music is the hard part about doing things like this.
Thanks for the compliment. Re the music: I just did a search on Jingle Bells MP3 , and came up with several hits. I liked the Glenn Miller version best of the ones I found.
