Hi Everyone!

It was fun while it lasted, but it's time to retire the Concentric Reading Circle book club.

Started in January 2006, slow traveler Deborah won the contest to name the book club. She cleverly played on the Slow Travel "concentric circle" travel theory, and the letters of an airport code - "CRC."

We read a lot of wonderful books! I read intriguing stories I know I never would have picked up otherwise. Be sure to check the CRC link above for our reading list, and this forum for the club chat transcripts.

Thanks to all who participated over the years. We'd especially like to thank Leslie from Australia for leading the club in 2007, and BGE from Canada for leading it the past two years. They both put a lot of time and effort into the club's organization, and it was much appreciated.

We'll still be talking about books in the quarterly "Books" thread in the Everything Else forum.
