what is a good french newpaper I can read on line for general news about France? For example, I read Corriere della Serra in Italian for italian news? This is all in an effort to improve my language skills.
Also, are there any particularly good language sites with on-line lessons? Thanks, Jim
For online light-weight (in fact très light-weight) newswire type dispatches, I read 20minutes but am somewhat ashamed. http://www.20minutes.fr/dossier/France
For more in-depth articles, esp in printout I like - Nouvel Obs: http://tempsreel.nouvelobs.com/ - Libération for cultural subjects and fun stuff. - Le Monde for foreign affairs. But I find le Monde's page 2 editorials irritating. They seem to tell one how to think. Or is it the problem of its readers who all repeat the opinions the next day.
