Having had zero success trying to learn from language textbooks or tapes (I've bought so many over the years but rarely got around to using them), I finally found a more enjoyable way-- reading children's story books. So far I've read "Le Petit Prince" and the first four Harry Potter books in French, and in just 2 months I've made far more progress than in 2 decades of "resolving" to start on the tapes/CDs.

Can somebody recommend any other French children's books that are also interesting for adults to read?
