In anticipation of a trip to the Alsace-Lorraine region next fall (and to keep up with my daughter who is now frighteningly fluent!) I'm looking to improve my French. I'd say I'm an "advanced beginner." I can hold short, practical conversations, but have trouble following dinner party conversation. Does anyone have personal experience with any good French lesson podcasts that might fit the bill for my level?

Thanks!

Whoops! Probably should have posted this in the "French Language Talk" forum. Can a mod move this thread for me?

Thanks and sorry!

Roz has a podcast recommendation in this thread which sounds a little bit more advanced. I'm also interested in suggestions. I've been listening to Radio France but I understand very little. You might give it a try.

Thanks for the info! I've downloaded a few different options and will report back on my impressions.
