I just want to say (and receive a pat on the shoulder), I have now set up my new machine, networked (wireless) it, loaded all peripherals with their drivers (printer, scanner, external drives, telephone (Linksys), etc. and it is all working. I've transferred programs, security programs, etc. Big Grin

And..everything seems to be working well. It took Office 2003 with no problem. And, I think I am liking what I see. I really like the Windows picture gallery!

I am sure that in a few days I will be back asking some "hows" and have something to be unhappy about, but right now, all is fine. Doh

Now I need help in how to take the other computer back to its pristine self. Then maybe it will start running at an acceptable speed.

Gelato

How about a gelato instead of a pat on the back?

Steve, oh, so much better! Shall we say Rome? Florence? Where? Big Grin

And last night I ran into a stumbling block with the printer but finally got that going to. I think I am set except now for transferring such things as photoshop tags, etc.--a real pain and changing my Mozy account. Thanks for your help!
