I have been playing around with a live chat database on my site and I found that using firefox the piece of software involved won't focus (pop up from minimise to maximise) or make the pre set sound when someone enters the room or starts a chat.
I thought it was me being silly but I just checked with the slow trav chat room and if I minimise it using FF. When someone enters the room there is no bing bong so you don't know anyone has come in. Then they think you are ignoring them and when you finally open up the window you see hem saying hello. hello? HELLO!....but they are gone.
In internet explorer the sound plays and the chat window focuses.
Can it be I found a bug in the mighty firefox? I think its because it uses a quicktime file for the sound and FF and quicktime don't get on so well.
