I can't seem to get my photos on my DVD. I have a burner and Windows XP. How do I do this?
I am getting a message that windows has "encounered a problem" when trying to copy files RR

I finally figured it out using Picasa. what is a bummer is you need to use the whole disk at once, no adding photos later. RR

On the Mac I use an application called Roxio Toast, which lets you burn a multi-session CD or DVD -- i.e., you can add photos later if your first burning doesn't fill up the disc. I believe the same application exists for Windows.

Many DVD burning software support multi-session CD or DVDs, BUT the problem is that these multisession disks do not play well with set top DVD player. DVD+/-Rs are so cheap these days (I buy mine from newegg.com), personally I avoid using the multi-session option.
