Has anyone ever used this when they have travelled to Italy or Europe? The model that's out right now is the Nokia N800. Below is the new version coming in mid November.



Nokia today launched the new Nokia N810 Internet Tablet. Here is more info:

The Nokia N810 is powered by maemo Linux based OS2008, updatable also on the Nokia N800, the previous internet tablet generation hardware. Here's a link to the N810 demo on Nokia site. It does look like an interesting competitor to the iPhone. Some people have felt the Nokia N95 is an iPhone competitor. The N95 has lacked a bit on websurfing compared with the iPhone. The N810 looks interesting if you also want a keyboard (albeit small keyboard).

Hi Marta, Thanks for replying. I'm not looking for a phone. I want to be able to email, IM and blog while on my trip. According to some of the sites I've read that's exactly what you can do with the N810.

I was wondering if any slow travel members have used one.
