How do you guys share documents with others? From time to time I make documents that I want to share with my wife so that we can both work on it. Having it on a PC requires that you send it by e-mail to each other once and update has been done. The best way I have found so far is "Google Docs & Spreadsheets" (see http://docs.google.com/ ).
Yes, we also have been making good use of Google's shared documents--mostly spreadsheets--for household matters, phone lists, and other mutually significant info. We also use the calendar functionality, which allows us to keep track of each other's appointments as well as upcoming collective engagements. The fact that you don't have to keep track of who has the most updated version of a document is very handy. It's been a really useful addition to our "household management protocol" (HMP? )...
