Hi There,
My wife & I will be travelling through Northern Italy, France & Switzerland in September. We will be driving in Italy. We plan to travel from Rome to Florence across to Cinque Terre and finally over to Venice from where we will travel to Paris by train.
I stumbled across this fantastic site whilst researching the driving leg of the trip. It has been really helpful to read so many useful tips and also it is very re-assuring to see that so many people seem to have done the trip and survived!!

We did a similar trip to you two years ago, however, we used rail travel.

Spent 5 weeks in Italy and 7 weeks travelling Europe.

You will have a ball.
