I just found your board due to my interest in Provence. I took my mother on a trip there last April and we had the best time together. We stayed near St. Paul de Vence and I saw many places nearby that I could visit for a week or more. I am hoping to exchange information and stories with other travelers.

Welcome, Toujours Lindy, to the SlowTravel Board. I, too, was in Provence this past April, for the very first time! We stayed in the town of Lourmarin, and mostly explored the Luberon. How very beautiful and enchanting this part of the world is, and how much I look forward to returning one day, maybe in 2007 or 08.

There are several of us here who love Provence, so we're definitely glad to have you here! My main base is in the Luberon, but we have been to the area around Vence twice and really enjoyed it.
