I've lurked long enough, and even posted a few times. Besides being well informed, the people on this forum are so kind to one another,and gentle to new people, I want to be part of the group. I am passionate about Italy. I am a retired painting and art history teacher. My favorite travel experience was taking my students to Italy and seeing their faces when they saw the Sistine Chapel or Venice for the first time.
