Hi all!

I've been around for just a couple of days and thought I'd use this opportunity to up my post count to get rid of the New Member tag. ;-)
I'll be traveling to Italy in September...a few days in Sorrento, one week in Rome, one week in Tuscany, one week in the Veneto, and a few days in Verona. When I was in college I did the mad dash through Europe with a backpack, that was the last time I was in Italy. I'm looking forward to being able to breathe this time.
This website is great! I stumbled on it at some point during the trip planning...I look forward to many happy hours reading about everyone's tips and trips.

Welcome SoftDrink from another newbie. I'm living on Vancouver Island and also planning a trip to Italy next September. Just getting all my accomodation lined up.

Was glad to see you enjoyed Victoria on an earlier visit. It is one of my favorite cities - great for walking around. I probably get there at least once a month.

Hi Brenda! One of my favorite memories from Victoria is watching the water taxi ballet in the harbor. I smile every time I think about it.
What is your itinerary for Italy? Is it your first trip?
