You will have a great time. It would be great to hear how it went.

Hi to all the Aussie's. I will endeavour to write a trip report this time. I do keep a journal everyday and will try to do some watercolour sketches, if I can find the energy after a day out.I am sure there will be lots of inspiration!

Hello Bluewren, Like you I am a Slow Travel virgin and it was only while thinking I should post a note on new members that I came across your note. I think we are doing similar trips this year (we leave middle of Agust) This being my first trip to Europe in my 54th year; my partner having travelled in his 20's and 30's. We are starting from Paris then to Provence and across to Italy: Amalfi/Tuscany:Florence/Lucern/Lauterbrunnen/Montreaux and back to Paris. Mostly by train with a hire car just for Provence. This trip planning is a huge learning curve for me and having only discovered Slow Travel recently I will await your travelling tales with great interest. What a wonderful site Slow Travel is - with so many helpful people across the globe willing to share their experiences. I Wish you a bon voyage! Cheryl- Gooseberry Hill, Western Australia
