Hello everyone,
I am travelling to Europe at the end of this year and will be spending most of my time in Italy. This will be my first trip outside of Australia so its very exciting (and scary!!).
Nice to meet you all!

Hi Eliar - Welcome from another Aussie!
I am sure you will have a wonderful trip (the first trip outside Australia is always such an eye opener!) Wink Grin
And I'm sure you'll get some great tips from the Slow Travellers here. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions Smile

What part of Tassie are you from?

Cheers
Christine

Greetings from the North Island. I think you are the first Tasmanian on this board.

An end of the year trip, eh!

Chistmas in Venice?

Wow Tassie...just love the place!

We spent 10 weeks touring Tasmania three years ago and absolutely loved it.

Welcome to ST, you will get plenty of great information and Italy is not scary at all. Been there and done that (twice)

Welcome from yet another Aussie! I have family in Hobart, so visit often.

You'll have a great time travelling in Europe & don't forget that no question is a silly question.

Enjoy the planning!

It is so cool to have all these Aussies joining the boards.
Soon, STers will be able to travel the entire country and plan GTGs anywhere they go!

Hello Eliar,

A warm welcome to you. My son traveled extensively Down Under several years ago and feels it was a life-changing experience. I am originally from California but have lived in Umbria, Italy for 40 years. Please do not hesitate to ask me for any help in planning your trip.

Again, welcome to Slow Travel and to Italy this winter.
