Greetings, slowtravelers.

Some of you I've met through expatsinitaly.com, others I haven't, despite reading (albeit, quietly in the corner) a good deal of the content on the site. I'm a student at Ohio State University in Columbus, focusing on Public Affairs Journalism and Italian. I'm making my first leap across the pond this summer to study in Lecce, Italy, and i'm already as giddy as a 20 year old male can get.

Anyhow, nice to e-meet you all. There's an endless amount of useful information here, and I've already taken a great deal of it to mind.

Leslie: Yeah, Sal is getting huge! Though, he still thinks he's a little guy, so he'll jump on our chests when we're sleeping like it's no big deal.

Imagine: Worry not. Hah. I do have a penchant for literature and rooftops, but i'm not that self-loathing. Also, i'll be studying language in Lecce.
