I am new to the site. Find it very interesting and informative. Love Italy. Lived there years ago as a student. Presently teach Italian French and Spanish in Connecticut. I'm part of the group that has been planning the Gathering in Savannah. We actually have a place where people are posting about sharing accommodations-- here. I'd suggest that you post here as soon as possible and hopefully you'll hear from others.
At the bottom of a person's post you'll see three small icons. Click on the yellow folder icon and it'll quote the person's post when you reply to them.

Private conversations are part of the premium (paid) features of the forums. If you want to email someone, you can check their profile (click on the name and choose public profile) to see if they list their email address.
I see you do list your email in your profile, so the other possibility is to post on the thread and ask them to email you.
We don't suggest that you put your email in the post (to keep it from being picked up by automatic programs searching the web for email addresses for spammers).
