hello all.
I found this website in frustrations of wanting to travel and not having enough friends who can or want to do it. I'm here looking for friends to either meet in europe or in USA and plan trips to see more than I have so far Smile. Life is too short to sit around and wish or one day say: could've would've should've....Anyone up for a trip?

Maybe a little bio information and what you would like to experience.

What great initiative Mayka! Might be just as crazy as some of our fellow STers! Wink Stefanaccio has a great suggestion. Hopefully you'll find some great travel buddies (and eventually life long friends) here in the Slow Travel community! Welcome!

Welcome, Mayka.
Indeed, SlowTravellers have "met" on this site and made travel plans together.
Usually after spending quite a bit of time participating in the threads so that people can become comfortable with each other.
Then, attending a Stateside GTG or two will give you a chance to meet some of us in person.
We all look forward to finding out about you and reading your posts.

In a previous life I was an Umbrian sunflower farmer. I want to do a past life regression and stay there.

Hi Mayka,
I agree with previous posters to tell us more about yourself and what your travel interests are. I also wanted to welcome you to the board because Norwalk, CT is where I grew up until I went to college and never left the Boston area. So welcome to Slow Travel and I hope you find lots of good travel ideas and perhaps a travel buddy-though traveling solo can be lots of fun too.
