Hello everyone.
Great to find this board!!!
I am a performer from Nashville...working on my 3rd CD and love love to travel.
I am in a wheelchair.....so getting on stage has always been a pain...hopefully the folks that help aren't too drunk...actually I used to be nervous on stage...now am just nervous getting on and off...but not really...haha
I have done tours in the US, which most of the times is a breeze.
But am really interested in getting back overseas...have been to Scotland 4 times and found it relatively accessable...even in the highland I could find bathrooms that were large...and the busses in edinburgh were great...at least one of the bus circuits..the lothian actually I could easily get onto....London was a pain though....their underground circuit...forget it......they had handicapped signs down there for no reason

Anyway I really want to play my music for the people over there...record labels are more accessable over there and the money for musician is really nice....so I would like to start going quite a bit....will start posting some question.....first place maybe in feb is holland...any tips
Cheers T
ps if anyone wants to check out my music it is here

Hi Todd - Welcome to Slow Travel Talk.

Slow Traveler Mary wrote up some great notes about accessible travel for the Italy trip planning section of the site. The focus is Rome, but perhaps you'll find some helpful advice for Amsterdam, too.

Click the link for her article on Accessible Rome.

Cheers,
Colleen
