I've been lurking here for a couple of years and decided to join in - at least a little bit! I live in a suburb of Austin, have been on a couple of European trips - Rome, Florence,Venice; London; Glasgow/Edinburgh; Paris/Munich/Switzerland. Husband spends a fair amount of time in Taiwan. We don't get to travel quite as slowly as we'd like.
Looking forward to my next vacation to Italy in about 2 weeks - we'll be on the Amalfi coast and in Assisi. I take informal education classes in Italian at the local junior college - and now speak well enough to get myself in molto trouble as I learned last week when I mispronounced the word for "figs"! Oh well...
Welcome Jennifer You and your husband are going to visit beautiful places! Amalfi coast... meravigliosa! (wonderful) And don't forget to visit Capri Island!
