I'm completely new to the site. It looks very interesting to me. I would like to take the advantages of useful tips and information on here for my future trips. Ciao.. I am an american living in Italy.. but going to shanghai with my mom who grew up there from 1927- 1945... or around there.. We are coming to celebrate her 80th birthday.. and taking a trip in NOvember. Where are you?
Actually I live in california right now. I came to the states few years ago.I go back to shanghai every year to visit my family. I'm planning to go back in this November as well. Is this your first time going there? How long will you stay?
I am going to Shanghai next Summer from Boston. I was wondering if you have some tips on finding cheaper airfares. I want to do an open-jaw ticket, flying into Beijing and leave from Shanghai, with a layover in Japan. Can you suggest some places for me to call or browse?

My mom lives in the SF bay area... I have been in Italy since 1984, and have never been..she lived there and has gone back often, so will be fun! I am looking forward to the food...and markets. I teach cooking here in Italy.
