My husband and I are going to be moving to Italy at the end of the month and we need a car. I just found out that because we have residency visas, I probably don't qualify for a lease-buy-back program out of France. I'm still checking it out because he is a journalist, which may get us under the wire.
In the meantime, I'm also trying to figure out how to get a car for six months without paying steep weekly rental fees if I can't go through the French system.
Hoping somebody here will have some great ideas or tips!
Thanks!
I'm off to post in the most relevant section I can find.
While you may get some worthwhile tips here, italiasoon, you'll do better to check out the website Expats in Italy. Good luck with your car rental endeavor, and here is to your residency in Italy! Cin-cin!
