www.geniuslociumbria.com After meeting several of the Slow Travel members and realizing that I share the fundamental philosophy of the group, I have joined and even started a blog (MaryT). I have read with interest (and admiration!) many of the writings/entries of other members and gain inspiration from them. I am looking forward to exhanges with those of you who may be interested in my 39 years of living in Umbria and to hearing about your similar experiences or reactions to my "views" about life in Italy.

We had the great pleasure of meeting Mary (and her two children) on our recent visit to Umbria, the day of the Umbria GTG! We stayed for one night at the delightful Genius Loci Country Inn, and I will have my review done soon!

A big welcome also from Vetralla! Fulvio and I also enjoyed meeting another expat who enjoys sharing our delightful lifestyle with visitors. I just returned from giving a presentation in a castle/museum here and the big question for the local tourism people is how they can entice foreign toursts to the area. I must open their eyes to read this forum!! and perhaps follow the lead of your Genius Loci. Great to have you aboard.
