I am thrilled to have found this forum on travel. My husband and I live in a small home we built ourselves in the little village of Winterport Maine, 20 miles south Bangor and 40 minutes from the Atlantic coast.

We took our first trip to Europe(Prague/Karlovy Vary/Brno) in 2006 after our son fell in love with a great gal from the Czech Rebuplic and moved to Brno! Last year we all met in Amsterdam for a great bike and barge trip and next week we are bound for Venice.

We have already learned a great deal from Slow Travel posts and are looking forward to being part of the discussions.

It would help all of us to "hear" what you're saying if you wouldn't type using all capital letters as it comes across as shouting at us.
