Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while and you have such great info on this site. We've done a few cruises in the past and now want to slow it down a bit and spend more time in one location. So this year, we are flying to Paris for three nights, then St. Paul de Vence for three nights (I know it's a tourist trap, but I love it) then we're at Les Olivettes for a week in Provence and then on to a Parker Villa Rental in Tuscany for a week before flying home from Rome. Next May we're looking into a week on the Amalfi Coast. Can't wait. Thanks everyone for all your helpful information on this site.

Welcome Tracey,

Good to see another west coaster here. When are you planning your trip?

Hi there! August 18th we fly to Paris. August wasn't my first choice but we had friends who backed out of a Med. Cruise and we still had our air tickets.

That's really unfortunate.........I think a Med cruise would be a great time. However, what you've got planned sounds even better.

We did a Med. Cruise in Oct. 05, so I'm not heartbroken to do something different this time. However, am disappointed about missing Santorini as I would dearly love to go back there, and we were going to Istanbul for the first time which will be a shame...but there's always next time Smile

I grew up and went to school in PoCo. My parents and Brother and Sister in Law still live there. This is such a small world.
