Hi all! I'm an avid member of another travel site that references this one often so I decided awhile ago to come see what all the fuss was about. I've been lurking around checking reviews and such and decided it's about time I join. Great place you've got here.
My hubby and I are both 50, 5 kids, almost empty-nesters. We've got one son with one year of college left and then that's it. So...we're relatively new to travel scene as we've only really been doing it for the past 5 yrs or so. We've traveled together to Grand Cayman (twice), Paris, and Marbella, Spain. He's also been to London and Ireland, both of which are on my "must see" list. In January we're taking all the kids to Rome for our "last hoorah" as a family, so I'll be snooping around here looking for tips.
Anyway, now that we've got our feet wet we look forward to lots more trips in the years ahead and lots more friends to make on sites such as this one! I'm looking forward to becoming a part of the community here.
