I am writing from my desk job in New York. Currently employed as a Real Estate Agent in Brooklyn! I love traveling but can't afford too much of it right now! As you all know the real estate market sticks here in NY.

So does it stick or does it stink? . I'll tell you I have a friend who's been looking for quite some time and can't find a thing (but she has her heart set on a specific area of Manhattan).

Anyway, looking foreward to your participation even if you can't travel now, this is a great place to travel vicariously through others.

Hi Nik - I'm another of many who can't afford much travel at the moment... One of the reasons I love being part of Slow Trav is the chance to dream & share everyone elses adventures as well!
