I've been posting for two or three weeks and have seen some references to this section, but until now I haven't taken the time to visit it.

My wife and I live in Sussex, England. For several years when we were younger we stayed in gites in various rural parts of France. We now have a small campervan. We have travelled extensively in Great Britain and France and have also visited Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and parts of Germany and Austria. Two years ago we made our first trip to Italy and loved it. We returned last year and hope to go again soon.

We love countryside. We don't know much about birds, but we enjoy looking out for them. We never miss an opportunity to drive (and sometimes walk) in remote mountains. We love visiting churches. We have always visited art galleries and are finding that the more art we see the more enthusiastic we become. Italy has added a lot of fuel to this fire!
