Hi...it's Sunday afternoon, I'm waiting for the family to descend on me for Sunday dinner and have discovered this site while surfing for info to give my son, who is planning to travel to Europe this summer with his wife and small daughter. I was immediately taken by the 'gathering in Savannah' - I'll be there! Not much time before the hoards land at my doorstep, but as an intro, I'm a retired, single woman, mother of 2, grandmother of 1 (and another on the way). I love to travel. Have done a lot, both for work and pleasure. Favourite country - Italy, of course. However, my favourite town is Rye, Sussex, England. Have been all over Europe (including the 'east block' countries before the wall came down) and to Mexico, almost every State and every province and territory in Canada except Newfoundland. Would love to see Peru and Chile and South Africa some day. That's it for now...but I'll be back!!
