Hi, My wife and I got the travel bug when we were first married. We traveled to Stockholm where I had a job but then stayed on in Europe for three more years working in Barcelona and London. Ever since then we have gone back at least once a year. England, Spain, Italy, France, and Mexico are our favorites. Now we only travel in the Spring or Fall to avoid the tourist rush. Next trip is to Sicily and southern Italy in October. We are most interested in staying in charming small towns, taking cooking classes, doing a watercolor or two and sampling the good regional food. I would love to start a blog and also to post some pictures.

Tucson is one of my favorite cities in the US. We love to visit in the spring for the wildflowers. I think we love the desert so much because it is such as contrast from the green wet Pacific Northwest. Are you still in a drought? We haven't visited since 2005 because few flowers have bloomed with the limited rain fall.
