I'm new to these boards, though I have read SlowTravel extensively since last year. I finally have decided to join the conversation! My family, including 3 children, traveled to Italy last summer. We spent a wonderful vacation in Rome and Cortona. I learned a lot of information on Slowtravel that was invaluable during our trip. This July, we are returning to Italy and have rented an apartment in Venice. We are very excited to return to Italy.
