It's so hard to find quality travel blogs, and in surfing about and searching on Google I've apparently landed a goldmine by finally landing here.

My name is Marisa (aka, Risamay) and I am an avid traveler. I get away from the Bay (Area) as often as possible, which is never as oft as I'd like. But c'est la vie, eh? I'm always saving and planning the next viaggio and editing pictures from the last (in addition to having a "day job" I am a part-time artist and photog, hoping to go full time in the future.) I also try to keep my Notes from a broad travel blog up to date, after each trip.

Next week? Montreal for le premier fois. Next year? Back to Venice for the 5th time, and certainly not the last. I can't wait!
