As a traveler, I've enjoyed long trips (and living) in Europe...my faves are Spain, Portugal and France. I also spent several weeks in Turkey which I absolutely loved. What an amazing place! Jerry's right, Justine...we've definitely been drumming for fuller profiles for Slowtrav members! I'm not sure about the well-known part, but I'm one Slowtraveler who wishes for a nice photo, a location and some other information in each profile. The push is definitely on for a more informative profile.

Welcome Justine! I'm in the processing of planning a trip for 2009 which will include France, Spain and Portugual - so hopefully you will have some great tips to share

Sounds like I've got some work to do...photoshopping my photos!! Oooh I envy you that 09 trip. Can't wait to get talking about it!
Justine - I am sure no photoshopping is required. I went for the "lots of great scenery so people won't focus on me" route with the photo I have added!
