I have just joined Slow Travel after lurking like so many others for quite a while. I am planning yet another trip to France and each time they are getting slower and slower. This time we are thinking of taking an apartment in Paris for a month and doing some side trips and maybe a week somewhere else. Early days in the research at present so I am spending countless hours searching on this forum for good ideas and reading all the reviews about the apartments that others have stayed in.
I hope also to be able to add some of my own suggestions and recommendations from my previous trips.
Pipk, you're from my favorite city in the world! Spent a lot of time in the 90's in and around Circular Quay and The Rocks on business for weeks at a time and enjoyed your town immensely.
Welcome to Slow Travel. You'll find more than enough help, info., opinion, recommendations and cameraderie to make travel even more enjoyable.
I miss the Fortune O' War pub...Manley...Toranga Zoo...Bondi, Chinatown and the Cricket matches. Someday, I'll return.
