Apologies to AppalAnnie and Kaydee for not replying to their good wishes Jan 07 when I joined up. Had planned a summer in England et al in 07 but a death in the family put it off a year. So the good news is that my wife and I will be doing the trip May-Aug 2008. Can't wait-hope to walk a whole bunch. Luckily have a friend in London that will allow us to use his place as a base for our adventures. Doesn't get much slower than walking does it? Enjoying the posts. Thank you Slow Travel.
