My name is Beenish. I've been reading on the site for a month now and have finally decided to introduce myself.

I've been reading the United Kingdom & Ireland section a lot. I've always wanted to visit UK especially Edinburgh. I have a friend who lives and he's a photographer so he shows me all the pictures he takes and Edinburgh is just such a gorgeous city! I plan on visiting there in the summer and Slow Travel will be the perfect place to post about it

Marta, yeah, my friend was telling me about the summer festivals there. He's the one who suggested I visit during the summer so I could check them out. I've heard a lot about them so I can't wait

You might want to check out Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It was the model for the NYC Fringe Festival. The time to go is August.
