Our plans are Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) in August 2007, America May 2008 and Great Britain 2009.

Hello! We had to postpone our trip due to my back surgery, so I figure it will give me something to look forward to while I'm recuperating!

Our plans are to base ourselves somewhere around Siena for 4-5 weeks,with a rental car, and finish with a week in Venice.

I too am a new member to Slow Travel and know how excited you must be at learning about this special site. Welcome from a fellow Perth hills resident (Gooseberry Hill) and I know we will probably communicate often in the future as my partner and I are heading off on a 6 week holiday to France/Italy & Switzerland in August. I know that delaying your holiday by a year must be sad - but look at it like this - you get a whole year to plan, plan & plan!. Half the fun is the looking forward.
