My husband and I are retired and are fulltime RVers in the US. We are planning to take a repositioning cruise to Europe in April 2008 and stay until ships return in October 2008. We are meeting family in some places (probably Paris, Cinque Terre, and southern Tuscany), and traveling with other friends at other times. I am hoping to stay a month at a time, or close, when possible. We want to rent apartments or houses. We will probably start in Spain and hope to spend a week with Vaughan Village (www.vaughanvillage.com). June will probably include France (and maybe Cinque Terre). More Italy in Sept/Oct. Looking for nice cool places in July and August (I know about the crowds). We are thinking UK - Ireland, Scotland. Any other ideas for summer? I am doing all the planning. We are hoping to keep housing at an average of $300 per couple per week, sharing houses/apts. No other specific questions right now, but I'm sure there will be.
