Hello! I have been a lurker here for sometime now. (Hey LouLou, good to see you here!) My favorite trips are slow travel with my husband and faster girlfriends' weekends, although I even enjoy solo business travel.
Thanks Chris and Lala! I am gearing up for another trip in September, this one will be a return to a small village in the Lot Valley, where we spent a magical spring week a year ago.
Spring was lovely, with the smell of lilacs and juniper in the air, and the song of the cuckoo and rooster ringing out across the valley. The wine was rich and tannic, the bees and the dogs were friendly, the days were balmy and it was a perfect seven days. Now we are going for 15 at the start of the wine harvest.
