Hi Everyone

I've been visiting this wonderful site for several months now in preparation for
a 3 week trip to Italy in July in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary.

Thanks to everyone for all the very useful information, advice and suggestions.

This will be our fourth trip to Italy The last time was in 1993 when we stayed in Rome for 2 weeks with 2 kids, ages 2 and 6. What an adventure that was! Now for the first time in 20 years it will be just the two of us travelling .

Generally we are slow travellers and like to stay in a city for at least a week to get the "feel" of the place. This time we are speeding it up a bit to take in more cities in Tuscany and Umbria.

Our itinerary: Rome, Florence (daytrip to Lucca), Siena, Perugia (daytrip to Assisi), and Sorrento.

Will post a report when we get back.
