Hi all,

My name is David (had to use Monty to log in)and live in Melbourne, Australia.

Am now retired but did spend some time in France and Germany when working.

My wife and I are visiting Dubai, then Northern Italy for 5 weeks starting mid May. Most of our accomodation is in apartments but hotels in Milan, San Gimigmano and Siena.

Apart from airfares have made all other arrangements via the internet and, keep fingers crossed, all turns out well.

We spent 4 weeks in Vietnam about 18 months ago and that is an extraordinary country with lovely people and a fraction of the cost of Europe. Happy to help anyone interested in going ther.

G'day David! What's the weather like down there?

I saw a documentary on Dubai last night. It looks most interesting. I think it was Ernie Dingo talking, on a travel show.

We'll all be very interested in hearing details of where you are staying. Should be lovely weather for you then. Smile

Great to have you with us, David! Hope that trip to Dubai and Europe is a stunner.

Isn't Vietnam the most fascinating and wonderful place!? We loved every moment of our two weeks there and are now planning to go back and spend some more time there. The people are its most beautiful drawcard. And as for the food.............!
