I have been traveling pretty darn slow for over 20 years now so this seems like a good place to be to share expriences and keep inspired. I bought a canal barge in Holland in 1986 and have been going at 5 miles an hour ever since playing hooky on the French canals. I teach cooking, write, and consult in the food world from this floating test kitchen- the Julia Hoyt.

I have lived in this SW corner of the hexagone for ever and am happy to share my 'insider's Gascony'.
